How to compare garnets

Garnets span different varieties and colours. Compare tsavorite, demantoid, spessartine and rhodolite within their own context. Record the precise variety and intended colour in the brief; the broad label “garnet” is insufficient for a precise price comparison.

Start with a preferred colour, carat range, millimetre measurements and stone budget. Open individual offers and compare matching specifications; total price and price per carat answer different questions.

Measurements, documentation and current price

For an existing setting, specify length, width and depth as well as carat weight. Review photographs and video where available. When a laboratory report is supplied, match its number, stone identity and treatment disclosures to the offer. A missing treatment field does not automatically mean untreated.

Availability changes. Before ordering, confirm the individual stone, final price, delivery and applicable terms. If the filter has no results, broaden the size range or send a precise sourcing brief.
