How to compare emeralds

Compare emeralds by green colour, transparency and visible inclusions. Check whether clarity enhancement with oil or another substance is disclosed, and to what extent. Match the setting and care to the individual stone.

Start with a preferred colour, carat range, millimetre measurements and stone budget. Open individual offers and compare matching specifications; total price and price per carat answer different questions.

Measurements, documentation and current price

For an existing setting, specify length, width and depth as well as carat weight. Review photographs and video where available. When a laboratory report is supplied, match its number, stone identity and treatment disclosures to the offer. A missing treatment field does not automatically mean untreated.

Availability changes. Before ordering, confirm the individual stone, final price, delivery and applicable terms. If the filter has no results, broaden the size range or send a precise sourcing brief.
